    Required Skills

    WordPress Development 

    • PHP Mastery: Deep understanding of PHP (7.4 through 8.x) to write custom functions, hooks, and classes. Ability to debug using error_log and WP_DEBUG.

    • Theme Development: Experience building custom themes from scratch (Underscores _s or Roots Sage) and modifying child themes.

    • Plugin Development: Ability to write custom plugins to extend functionality, including understanding the WordPress Plugin API (Actions, Filters, Shortcodes).

    • Database Management: Proficiency with MySQL/MariaDB. Ability to write direct SQL queries when standard WP_Query is insufficient.

    • Frontend Fundamentals: Expert HTML5, CSS3/Sass, and JavaScript (Vanilla/jQuery).
